LABOURER REQUIRED

We require a labourer for our very busy welding and fabrication business. The ideal candidate will be practical (agricultural or quarrying experience an advantage). They will - carry out general housekeeping duties within our workshop, be willing to fit in around others, assist our plater/ welders on site, deliver and collect parts from anywhere in the UK, carry out simple engineering tasks e.g. drilling and grinding, have a full clean driving licence and a sense of humour!

Hours of work would be between 7am to 5pm, but we may need you to work the occasional night or weekend if required. Good rates of pay for the right candidate and plenty of opportunity to earn overtime.

PLATER / WELDER REQUIRED
​
Tideswell Welding Services Ltd. are looking for a workshop & site Plater / Welder. This person must be multi-skilled and have completed a fabrication apprenticeship as a minimum.
​
The ideal candidate will be able to work from workshop drawings as well as being capable of taking measurements from site and producing items in our workshop.
​
Not one day is the same and you must be prepared to adapt at short notice. Tideswell Welding Services Ltd. work on a reactive basis and are on call 7 days a week. The normal working week is Monday to Friday but you must be prepared to work weekends, when required, and the occasional night shift.
​
Along with your CV, you must let us know what experience you have, how long you have been working in the trade and what other training you have gained over your working career.
